The Marine Parasitology Laboratory, James Cook University, Centre for Sustainable Tropical Fisheries and Aquaculture in Townsville, Queensland studies parasites of important marine fish species. The Laboratory examines aquatic animal parasitology that threaten wild, farmed and ornamental fishes. The research integrates parasite discovery and biology with practical, applied research designed to deliver tangible outcomes for fisheries, aquaculture industry and biosecurity management.

Eden was approached by author Robert (Bob) Jarrad to illustrate his latest book, Sitting on Top of the World. The book is narrative poetry enriched with a humorous Aussie influence: laid back, occasionally serious and thoughtful, with a common thread of family. Our latest online publications for the Department for Education and Child Development are the Essential English and Essential Maths resources. These assist in the learning and education of FLO students who are disengaged from school as a result of multiple and complex barriers.

Eden was approached by the Marine Parasitology Laboratory at James Cook University, QLD, to illustrate fish species for various international research presentations. The images will be used for the 2015 Australian Society for Parasitology Conference in Auckland, NZ, the Australasian Aquatic Animal Health Conference in Cairns and the International Symposium on Fish Parasites in Valencia, Spain. The events will celebrate research with an outstanding mix of International, New Zealand and Australian scientists.
